Altes Schauspielhaus (Old Playhouse)

The Old Playhouse is one of Baden-Württemberg's leading "straight" theatres and is located in Königstraße, a street in the heart of Stuttgart. The repertoire at the Altes Schauspielhaus includes everything from classical drama to contemporary productions and musical plays. Performances in the "Theater unterm Dach" ("Theatre under the Roof") and the foreign-language productions of the "International Theatre" have become established fixtures in its schedule of events.
