- What makes us stay in a smoky waiting room instead of raising the alarm?
- Why do we take our cue from others we don't even know rather than trusting ourselves?
It is often not our personality but the situation that determines our behavior. The permanent exhibition explains why this is the case in an easy-to-understand and entertaining way.
Using 50 scientific psychology experiments, visitors can experience what makes people "tick". Animated short films, elaborately designed information steles and interactive stations illustrate the many sides of our psyche in the area of conflict between individuality and adaptation.
For each of the numerous topics, such as motivation, happiness, fear and creativity, there are also specific tips for your own behavior.
