Beuren Open-Air Museum
The snail garden, the carpenter's shop and the photo laboratory – at Beuren Open-Air Museum everything looks exactly as it did in the olden days. Embark on a journey back through time and experience what everyday life was like for the rural population in the regions around the Middle Neckar and the Swabian Alb.
A 15th-century Beuren barn, a fruit mill from around 1800 or a washhouse from 1813 – the 22 historical buildings in the museum grounds take you back through the centuries. A special attraction is the museum shop: here you can search to your heart's content for products from past generations and discover the most original souvenirs from bygone eras.
