Börse Stuttgart
On February 11, 1861, the actual birth of the Stuttgart Stock Exchange took place in the Königsbau with the founding of the "Stuttgarter Börsenverein". Just a few days after the opening, the first unofficial Schwäbische Merkur price list included 71 securities, mainly domestic and foreign bonds. The Württembergische Cattun-Manufaktur in Heidenheim and the Esslinger Maschinenfabrik are included in trading at the time. Government securities of the state of Württemberg also play a significant role.
After several relocations, the Stuttgart Stock Exchange is now located in the Carl-Eugen-Bau on Schlossstrasse. At 800 square meters, the trading floor in the trading hall is twice as large as in the previous domicile in the Königsbau. Today, the Stuttgart Stock Exchange is Europe's leading stock exchange organization for private investors.
Since April 2018, there have been math discovery trails around the Stuttgart Stock Exchange. You can find more information here
