Café Lesbar

Reading makes you hungry. The beautiful library on Mailänder Platz has a solution to this hunger: bookworms can simply take a break in the "Café Lesbar". On the 8th floor of the temple of reading, you can enjoy a magnificent view - both outwards and inwards. After all, the white reading room with its atrium and staircase galleries cuts quite a chic figure. Now for breakfast? Bowls and scrambled eggs, pancakes and toasted sourdough bread are already waiting for you. Would you prefer lunch? It's time for salads, pasta and Swabian classics. O coffee klatch coming? They are all lined up in the cake display case, smiling at the guests: Cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, cakes, bagels, croissants and pains au chocolat. Wine from Rotenberg, fruit juices from Uhlbach? What stands out in the "Lesbar" is its regional connection. No wonder. After all, the spot is run by the Bubeck family, who already promote local specialties and sustainability with the "1819 Bistro" at Wirtemberg.
