Dornhaldenfriedhof Cemetery
Like the Waldfriedhof, the Dornhaldenfriedhof is located in a former woodland area. In 1977 the Red Army Fraction terrorists Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin and Jan-Carl Raspe were interred here despite great public protest. Manfred Rommel, then Mayor of Stuttgart, ended the discussion with the words: All enmity has to end somewhere; and in this case it ends for me with their death.
