Herzog-Christoph-Denkmal in Stuttgart
The Duke Christoph monument is located on the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart. The bronze monument was designed by court sculptor Paul Müller in 1889 and depicts Duke Christoph, who reigned from 1550 to 1568. Scenes from his life are depicted on the relief panels. On his initiative, Protestantism was further spread and consolidated in Württemberg. In this context, he is also regarded as the creator of the Württemberg church and school regulations.
