Junges Schloss (Young Palace) Children's Museum
The "Young Palace" – an institution belonging to the Württemberg State Museum – is the state capital's first permanent children's museum. The Young Palace acquaints children and families with topics of regional history in an entertaining way. The basic concept of the children's museum is to conserve, communicate and promote an interest in art and culture. This is achieved by taking children seriously as today's visitors, connecting with their experience realms and encouraging their active involvement. The aim of the Young Palace is to help children to forge and reflect their own, individual rapport with history.
