Killesberghöhe Stuttgart
Stuttgart at the top.
The Weissenhof Estate was built in 1927, and today the two Corbusier houses are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since 2012, the Killesberghöhe has been located next to it in Stuttgart's fine north; the architecture makes strong reference to the Weissenhof Estate and is clearly reminiscent of the Bauhaus. Planned by top architects of our time: David Chipperfield architects, Baumschlager Eberle, KCAP and Ortner & Ortner Baukunst. They created "the white city in the green", directly adjacent to the Höhenpark, one of the most beautiful public parks, which opens up like a garden on the Killesberghöhe. Killesberghöhe, as an urban quarter, has been awarded the DGNB Platinum certificate, which combines living, working and living. The steles of the outdoor architecture exhibition provide background information about the planners of the urban quarter.
