Königsbau/Königsbau-Passagen Stuttgart
The Königsbau Stuttgart was built in the middle of the 19th century in the late classicist style and forms the western boundary of the Schlossplatz. Destroyed during the war, the former commercial building was rebuilt in 1958/59.
The imposing colonnade of 34 columns is 135 meters long and dominates the entire building. Magnificent court celebrations used to take place here - today, cafés invite you to relax and enjoy. And behind the Königsbau is the Königsbau-Passagen Stuttgart shopping center with 25,000 square meters of retail space and restaurants.
