Kunsthaus Bühler Stuttgart
Founded in Stuttgart in 1905, Kunsthaus Bühler is one of the few galleries in Germany to specialize in both German and French painting of the 19th and early 20th centuries. The program of German painting includes works from the Munich and Düsseldorf schools of the 19th century as well as works of German Impressionism, e.g. by Curt Herrmann, Lovis Corinth, Max Liebermann, Otto Dill or Heinrich von Zügel.
The focus of French painting is on works from the Barbizon School and Post-Impressionism, including the Fauves. The program is rounded off by selected works by 20th century and contemporary painters and sculptors such as Fritz Kohlstädt, Wolf Kahn, Fritz Nuss, Fritz Melis, Willem Lenssinck and Aaron Shikler.
