Memorial to the victims of National Socialism in Stuttgart

Mahnmal für die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus in Stuttgart

The memorial to the victims of National Socialism in Stuttgart in front of the Stauffenberg memorial in Stuttgart Old Palace was designed by Elmar Daucher in 1970. The four black granite blocks symbolize the severity of the period of tyranny for the victims.

The inscription by Ernst Bloch reads: "Ostracized, rejected, martyred, beaten to death, hanged, gassed - millions of victims of National Socialist tyranny implore you: never again!"
