Kohlberg is only a few minutes away from the Outlet City Metzingen. Kohlberg is also an ideal starting point for the most beautiful hiking trails in the Swabian Alb, namely the Gustav-Ströhmfeld-Weg and the Eduard-Mörike-Weg. The campsite is located at the foot of the local mountain Jusi (673 m), which offers excellent views as far as Hohenzollern Castle, the Black Forest and the Kaiser Mountains. The panoramic thermal baths in Beuren, the Beuren open-air museum and the ruins of Hohenneuffen Castle are just a few minutes away. In the Neuffen valley there are outstanding wines and opportunities for wine tasting or a walk in the vineyards. At Hohenneuffen (within sight of the pitch) you can go paragliding/paragliding. Tandem flights are also possible. The premium hiking trails in Bad Urach and the Albtherme thermal baths are only a few minutes away by car. Horse-drawn carriage rides can also be booked in the Neuffen valley.
