The pitch is located on the grounds of the Bottwartal winegrowers. The Bottwartal winegrowers are a strong community of quality winegrowers who joined together in the cooperative in 1966 and see viticulture in the Bottwartal as a cultural mission. The main grape varieties are traditionally Trollinger and Lemberger, and Riesling and Kerner for white wine, with Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris playing an increasingly important role.
