In the middle of the Roman fort, you can sit in a huge historic barn. Incidentally, the restaurant is aptly named after a Roman throwing spear. However, the menu is not limited to Roman dishes: Mediterranean seafood and Thai curry are served just as professionally as rump steak with herb butter.
