Stuttgart Police Museum
There is a lot to learn about the Stuttgart police. Numerous archived exhibits tell the story of the history and development of police work in one of the largest and most modern police museums in Germany. Exciting stories about crimes are told in ten themed areas, crime scene work and forensics are illustrated and a large amount of counterfeit money is on display. The effects of the RAF on Stuttgart, the police during National Socialism, a police station from the last century and the collection of weapons are presented. Get to know various historical police uniforms and their significance and gain an insight into police work in Stuttgart's road traffic. All topics are also illustrated by a large collection of film and audio documents.
The Stuttgart Police Museum has no fixed opening hours, but offers group appointments for individuals and small groups. A guided tour can be booked for groups of ten or more. Pleace ask whether it is possible to get a tour in English. This is given by a police officer off duty.
