Raupe Immersatt
Café Raupe Immersatt is Germany's first food-sharing café in the west of Stuttgart. This sets an example for greater appreciation of food and the careful use of our resources, based on the 3 pillars:
Foodsharing:
The Germany-wide volunteer initiative foodsharing.de saves surplus, still edible food from being thrown in the garbage can every day. foodsharing shares this food publicly and free of charge. The café offers an unconditionally accessible fair divider from the initiative. All guests can help themselves here. On the one hand, this reduces food waste and, on the other, raises awareness of the importance of treating our food with respect.
Drinks:
The range of drinks is carefully selected and unique. All products are based on the principles of regional, ecological, social and fair. The café knows most of the producers personally. The sale of drinks is open and based on solidarity. Guests can set their own price as they see fit. The range of beverages is designed to promote the idea of food appreciation.
Events:
As an association, they support cultural work in Stuttgart and offer artists a stage. They focus on diversity: with readings, lectures, film screenings and concerts, they want to underline their idea of a world for the good of all. There are also workshops and educational
