Strohgäubahn (Steam Railway)
The Strohgäubahn steam railway gives delightful impressions of the countryside. The 25-km-long, privately-owned railway operated by the "Württembergische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft" runs between Korntal and Weissach. A single journey takes an hour, making a trip on the Strohgäubahn an ideal half-day outing. Join "Feuriger Elias" (lit. "Fiery Elijah") for a journey back to the early days of rail travel, with genuine old steam engines and carriages from the past two centuries.
