Villa Berg Park

Villa Berg Park is a rather unknown green space in the east of Stuttgart. You can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature in the designated play and sunbathing areas. The park was created in connection with the construction of Villa Berg in the 19th century.

If you want to take another walk, you will find a transition to the Lower Palace Garden in the west of the park. Villa Berg Park is also part of the "Green U".

Villa Berg

Villa Berg was built between 1845 and 1853 for Karl Friedrich Alexander von Württemberg and his wife in the Italian Renaissance style. The building offers a wonderful view of the city and served as a summer residence for the crown prince and his wife. It is worth taking a look at the almost cube-shaped building, as it is decorated with magnificent reliefs.

Both the park and Villa Berg are currently still dormant. However, a "House for Music and More" will be built here in the coming years.
