Weingut Gerhard Zaiß GbR
According to the chronicles, the Zaiß family has been growing grapes in Untertürkheim since the 16th century.
The foundation stone of the Aussiedlerhof in Gehrenwald was laid by Moritz Zaiß in 1968. His son Gerhard Zaiß took the plunge into self-employment in 1971 and since then the family winery has been run as a self-marketing winery.
Simone Mack has now taken over the winery from her father Gerhard Zaiß and runs it with a great deal of passion and girl power. From the grape to the bottle, the wine is vinified and bottled in the winery's own press.
The grapes come from vineyards in the best locations in Untertürkheim, which benefit from the favorable microclimate along the Neckar and the fertile soils
In the months of May, August and September, the estate's own wine is served in the "Gehrenwald-Besen". Guests feel particularly at home in the Mediterranean wine arbor.
Tips for getting there:

or by bus line 61 to "Aspen" or line 60 to "Gehrenwald".
