Weingut Peter Mayer
The Peter Mayer winery in Stuttgart is based on a centuries-old tradition. Since the ancestor Jerg Mayer, born around 1550, 14 generations of the Mayer family have lived as "citizens and winegrowers in Bad Cannstatt". Today, Peter Mayer cultivates 3 hectares of vineyards at Weingam Burgholzhof in the Cannstatter Berg vineyard.
His vineyards are dominated by the classic Württemberger grape varieties. The "reds" Dornfelder, Lemberger, Pinot Noir and Trollinger are complemented by the "whites" Kerner, Riesling and Pinot Blanc.
The Jägerhof wine tavern belongs to the Peter Mayer winery.
