Züblin-Parkhaus
Tomatoes on the roof and art on the walls! When you enter the "Züblin-Parkhaus", you can take the flyer from the pay machine, scan the QR code and let yourself be guided through a unique parking garage gallery via podcast. Contemporary photographic art from the "Fumes and perfumes" series is impressively displayed on the concrete walls. The drive-through exhibition can also be experienced on foot and without a parking ticket. The second highlight awaits on the top deck: a community garden in raised beds thrives in the open air. Concerts and open yoga sessions also take place here from time to time. Top views included: in the immediate vicinity of the tower, the view sweeps over the Gustav-Siegle-Haus. On the other side of the street, the DOQU shines brightly. The sea of rooftops of the Bohnenviertel extends around the multi-storey parking lot, with the slopes spreading out behind it.
Extra tip: Grab a drink at the "Kultur Kiosk" on the first floor and check out the art exhibition there. If you want to visit this creative area, you should hurry: From 2024, the parking garage will revert to the city and promises to be an exciting inner-city construction project.
The Züblin parking garage, which has been in existence since the 1960s, offers space for almost 600 cars and is open around the clock.
