The celebrated mezzo-soprano Anna Lucia Richter shines on the world's great opera stages and concert halls with a wide-ranging repertoire. Alongside the famous recorder virtuoso Dorothee Oberlinger and her Ensemble 1700, she presents the program " Who's next ? " with works by Johann Sebastian Bach and other composers who were also candidates for the post of Thomaskantor after the death of Johann Kuhnau in 1723: Georg Philipp Telemann, Johann Christoph Graupner and Johann Friedrich Fasch.
A varied program of vocal and instrumental compositions by these four esteemed colleagues will musically revive their famous competition.
