The Bremen-based ensemble Los Temperamentos and the Lima (Peru)-based Ballet Folclórico Nacional del Perú present a unique concert evening with Fiesta Peruana: The program includes the fascinating music of the famous Codex Martínez Compañón and authentic dances choreographed especially for the occasion in elaborate original costumes.
Together, the two ensembles bring Peruvian music from the 18th century to the stage; recorded and transported to the present day in arrangements by ensemble director Néstor F. Cortés Garzón.
The result is a colorful concert that reflects the cultural diversity of European, African and indigenous roots.
The young musicians of the baroque ensemble Los Temperamentos perform on concert stages all over the world, presenting their very own, unmistakable sound full of vitality and joy of playing. Together with the professional dancers of the Ballet Folclórico Nacional, they promise us a sensational evening.
