This year, the Bachakademie is once again celebrating Johann Sebastian Bach's birthday, but this time not just with a concert, but at a unique event in the Wizemann with lots of music, dancing and drinks. The evening begins with the inspiring musicians of the Young Stuttgart Bach Ensemble, who will play some of the highlights of their Bachfest performances with the Bachakademie conductors. In the second part of the program, the atmosphere changes and we travel to Buenos Aires with the famous Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno and her top ensemble with the music of Bach.
After a stopover in Brazil with Villa-Lobos, the music of Astor Piazzolla and the sounds of the bandoneon, the final party takes us into the world of Argentinian tango. We can count on the elegance and skill of the dancing couple Diana & Juan. But not only tango fans will get their money's worth, because our DJ also has other South American sounds in his luggage.
