" Aldo Baldin - a life for music " is a documentary film that portrays the talented tenor Aldo Baldin (1945 - 1994) on his journey from humble beginnings in a small town in southern Brazil to becoming one of the greatest lyric tenors of his time. He sang with the greatest conductors in the most famous concert halls and recorded more than 100 albums.
His close collaboration with Helmuth Rilling at the International Bach Academy in Stuttgart from 1972 to 1993 led to many important recordings.
His story is embodied by the tenor himself and told by musicians, friends and family members who relive his great career.
The projection will be followed by a discussion with Yves Goulart, director of the documentary, and Aldo Baldin's wife, Irene Flesch Baldin.
