The Regensburg boys have been singing for 1000 years, the "Domspatz girls" only since 2022. The conductor, who has just graduated from the music academies in Cologne and Düsseldorf, has already worked successfully with the choir girls, so we can look forward to bell-clear sounds. The title A Psalm Celebration serves as a guiding principle: it celebrates the depth of the psalm poems, which are always characterized by the tension between every conceivable human need on the one hand and the hope of being preserved by God on the other. Lift up your eyes - you couldn't set this verse to music more beautifully than Mendelssohn!
