40 years of arcata stuttgart! The Advent concerts have been a tradition in the chamber orchestra's concert program for 17 years. Literature and music in dialog! Here, young and old get in the mood for Christmas with well-known and lesser-known texts and works.

Since its foundation in 1984, the ensemble - under the direction of Patrick Strub - has delighted audiences in Stuttgart and the region, in Europe, but also on major concert tours to the Far East and Australia with the liveliness and stylistic confidence of its interpretations and, in particular, with the joy of music-making, which comes across directly to the listener.

Works by Dall'Abaco, Pärt, Vivaldi, Bloch, Handel, Liszt and Manfredini

Soloist: Benjamin Pas, violoncello (member of the Ferenc Fricsay Academy of the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin, among others).
