Between the snowflakes of December, the saxophone glows golden and transports its listeners with a warm sound into the romantic world of Alexander Glazunov, authentically interpreted by the young Ukrainian saxophonist Khrystyna Tsurkan. In Erwin Schulhoff's Hot Sonata, Qi Wang roams through the night on jazzy sounds, sometimes singing sensually, then drawing a grotesque caricature of the last barman, and finally spraying rhythmic fire. Tomasi's concerto transports us to France, the stronghold of Impressionist saxophone culture.
