The journey into the world of the Northern Lights begins in Stuttgart. In the planetarium we get to know the stars and constellations of a winter evening sky and then we head to the North Pole and experience the differences to the view of the sky at home

.a detour to the International Space Station puts us in the shoes of astronauts who view the auroras from above from the night side of the earth. The interplay between the solar wind, the earth's magnetic field and the atmosphere is explained

, and

finally we reach northern Canada, where the Korean photographer O Chul Kwon has recorded the magical phenomenon of the Northern Lights (Aurora borealis) using state-of-the-art video technology. A magnificent dance of shapes and colors in the sky awaits us.
