Benefizkonzert UNERHÖRT - Komponistinnen im Fokus

The Benefizorchester e.V. plays works by the composers Mél Bonis, Agathe Backer Grøndahl, Fanny Hensel and Emilie Mayer. The benefit concert will be held in aid of Frauen helfen Frauen Stuttgart e.V. and on the occasion of International Women's Day 2025.

In the Benefizorchester e.V., music students and young professionals make music together in changing formations free of charge. On the occasion of International Women's Day 2025, the Benefizorchester e.V. will exclusively perform works by female composers.
Mél Bonis, Agathe Backer Grøndahl, Fanny Hensel and Emilie Mayer lived and composed in the 19th and 20th centuries. Although they were successful and well-known during their lifetimes, their music is rarely heard. UNERHÖRT.
The proceeds from the benefit concert will go to the women and children who find refuge in the women's shelter, as well as to those seeking advice at the Counseling & Information for Women (BIF) and Women's Intervention Center (FIS).
