German Jazz Award 2024: "Album of the Year".

Bosnian-Slovenian singer and composer Mirna Bogdanović is the new star in the sky of female vocal jazz. She tours with the Berlin "Who's Who" of her generation and her latest album AWAKE (Berthold Records) was awarded the German Jazz Prize 2024 for "Album of the Year". Impressive musical perfection and tonal diversity in this ensemble make their modern compositions come across as light as a feather and smooth despite their harmonic complexity.
