BIX Tipp: YAELU AND BAND

Stuttgart-born singer Nuria Noba and Colombian guitarist Natalia Rose, two talented musicians from different parts of the world, have put together a band that reflects the individual timbre of their original compositions.

Through their collaborative songwriting, they express their individual perspectives and experiences of their environment in a playful and advanced way.
The sound of Yaelu reflects their intuitive creativity and the artists' ability to address and thematize collective experiences and societal conflicts within their compositions.

Likewise, the sound of their original compositions emerges from the fusion of different musical elements that take up the cultural backgrounds of both artists and are characterized by jazz elements as well as influences from hip-hop and pop.

The musical identity of the band sonically unites the compositions of the two artists and meets the playing of the well-known Berlin-based hip-hop drummer Magro as well as the musical versatility of the Italian bassist Francesco Beccaro, whose distinctive sensitivity deepens and enriches the intentions of the compositions.
