The Kunstmuseum Stuttgart is showing Christian Marclay's video installation, which won the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2011.
Christian Marclay scoured film history for time references and edited scenes from various genres and eras into a 24-hour video montage. In his work "The Clock", he synchronizes the times shown with real time at the performance location. The collage shows time information on clocks or through acoustic announcements and weaves them into a narrative. The video installation invites you to experience time in a completely new way.
