Christine Eixenberger has made many roles her own, not least her own: as a primary school teacher, she once switched to the stage and immediately followed it up with a TV career. For the successful ZDF series "Marie fängt Feuer" (Marie Catches Fire), she has been in front of the camera for years as a firefighter and has shone in numerous other character roles in film and television. However, the thoroughbred entertainer demonstrates her comedic core competence above all live: she has been awarded the Bavarian Cabaret Prize, among others, for her multi-faceted stage comedy.
In her new solo program, Christine Eixenberger tells the story of what it's like to no longer be single. The relationship is stable, as is the lack of accommodation, so her partner moves in with her. "Me and you" becomes "we" - with all the consequences. But Chrissy has that fully under control too. Well, almost. With tireless energy and enthusiasm, she defies not only the small crises in her newly formed duo household, but also the big ones in this world, because she knows that the big is reflected in the small. And vice versa. Supply chain problems, artificial intelligence and chip shortages? The trained primary school teacher tackles these issues with a robust craftsman's attitude and a biotech lab in her fridge. As a philosophically inclined offspring of Generation Y, she always asks herself the question of "why": Why is a black zero more important than a functioning education system? Why do the Austrians and the Swiss, of all people, manage to operate a functioning rail network despite topographical obstacles? And why the hell is there still a crumb from breakfast on the dining table even though it's already afternoon? In her fifth stage program "Volle Kontrolle", the sharp-tongued cabaret artist tackles the challenges of becoming a couple in turbulent times with a great deal of humour - profound, entertaining and very, very funny.
