Location:
Rathaus Stuttgart, Marktplatz (M) 1, 70173 Stuttgart
Date
February 20, 2025, 6:00 PM

As part of the "What can catalysis do?" exhibition, a free, open evening event will be held at Stuttgart City Hall. The event will shed light on how CO2 can be removed from the atmosphere and put to good use in the future.

How can CO2 be removed from the atmosphere and put to good use in the future?

We are pleased to invite you to this interactive evening event as part of the science exhibition
"What can catalysis do?".

In his lecture, Prof. Deven Estes from the University of Stuttgart will give an insight into the processes of CO2 production and CO2 removal.
He will explain how CO2 could be used in the future as an alternative to crude oil for the production
of fuels or basic chemicals. The aim is to establish CO2 as a sustainable resource in industry.
The lecture will be vividly complemented by exciting live experiments.

No pre-registration is required, admission is free.

Following the one-hour lecture, we will guide you through the exhibition
"What can catalysis do?".
