The collegium vocale Stuttgart has only been in existence for three years and is still in its infancy. However, the first performances by the ensemble of students and singers from all over Germany were so promising that we were pleased to award it the Stiftsmusik scholarship for vocal ensembles. This is associated with concerts in the hour, the first of which we are now able to hear. Sebastian Hermann, who has since been appointed deputy director of the Dresdner Kreuzchor, has chosen the highest category of a cappella art with Martin's Mass and also underlines the capabilities of his collegium vocale with the other works.
