The Story of the Highland Rose

In this year's CORNAMUSA show, we pick up on the impressive stories of our last two performances "Journey to the New World" and "Return Home". The trilogy takes you back to the very beginning. Experience how it all began in an incomparable show entitled "The Story of the Highland Rose".

Adventurous journey to Scotland

Let us take you away for an evening and experience the story of Rose, a proud Scottish girl, and Liam, a brave Irishman who falls in love with her at the market in Dublin. But Ireland is occupied by the English and to make matters worse, Rose is kidnapped. Liam and his companions embark on an adventurous journey to find the love of his life and free her from the kidnappers.
Accompanied by our seven-piece live band, this story is brought to life in an unforgettable performance. Join us and experience the beginnings of an epic tale.

World-class Irish dance

It is with great pleasure that we once again present first-class artists in our ensemble. At the forefront is three-time European champion and renowned solo dancer and choreographer Gyula Glaser, who has already wowed audiences on international stages such as the Off Broadway R. Theatre in New York. Nicole Ohnesorge, a highly decorated solo dancer and choreographer who came third at the World Championships and creates unforgettable moments with her impressive performances, will also be taking part.

The breathtaking visual impressions of the high-class light and video projections and the constantly changing costumes of the artists are just a small part of the sensory delights that the audience is treated to.
