While the younger generation discovers love and people search the internet for a match, Daphne de Luxe embarks on a crazy mission: she tries to set up her mother-in-law in the country. Because, with all due love, even the most patient soul needs a break from her presence from time to time. And, of course, the curious love life of her best friend Birgit is also humorously examined.
However, the master of self-irony not only takes an amused look at her fellow human beings, she doesn't stop at her own everyday relationship either. Along the way, she analyzes and comments on current issues and phenomena of our time, taking a close look at her husband's family in particular.
And anyone who thinks that everything has already been sung about love can look forward to a special musical feature of the new program: for the first time, Daphne de Luxe presents exclusively her own songs.
