The Ensemble Forum Early Music

The Ensemble Forum Alte Musik of the Stuttgart State University of Music and Performing Arts is made up of students from various classes, alumni and lecturers who feel a connection to early music on historical instruments and interpret music from past eras in a historically informed manner. Each semester, projects are carried out that include chamber music from the Renaissance to the early Classical period. The ensemble is now presenting one of its current concert programs at the Haus der Musik im Fruchtkasten.

Early music concert series

The concert series at Haus der Musik is entering its sixth season. The line-up includes top-class international ensembles and musicians. Renowned lecturers from the Trossingen University of Music present wonderful programs. Other well-known national and regional ensembles as well as offerings from the Stuttgart music academies round off the extensive program, which of course also includes live performances of the historical keyboard instruments of the Württemberg State Museum.
