A couple is sitting opposite each other at the breakfast table. The house is a mess and the mood is low. To get over the situation, one of them begins to tell the other a fairy tale - to the point where he needs the other's help to continue the story. And lo and behold, the partner gets involved and together they bring the story of the spoiled king on the lookout for a bride to a happy ending ... Sigrun Kilger and Hartmut Liebsch show in their culinary mini-drama how basically any material can be convincingly turned into a character and what considerable pleasure this brings. The action takes place at a normal, richly laid breakfast table on a Sunday. The puppets? Coffee pots and cups, egg cups and napkins, cheese cloche and bread rolls! They all develop a lively life and become the heroes of a fairy tale played out with wit and imagination.
