Lecture by Brother Felix Weckenmann, Benedictine monk of Beuron Archabbey
Brother Felix Weckenmann has found his happiness in the garden. The Beuron monk has been a gardener at the monastery in the Danube valley for 40 years. He makes a herbal wine from artichokes, a cosmetic cream from marigold flowers and fruit distillates from fruit. But Brother Felix is more than just a gardener: he is the author of the book "Das Glück wächst im Garten - Es braucht nicht viel, um gut zu leben", which was written in collaboration with journalist and co-author Christoph Fasel. He is also a photographer, inventor and explorer. Someone who gets to the bottom of life as such. His observations are well worth reading and show us what life is really about and that we can find happiness in simple things.
His talk will be accompanied by a digital presentation of his own photographs.
