Reading in memory of Dietrich Bonhoeffer at Wortkino - Dein Theater. He was executed on April 9, 1945.

"Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of goodness than malice."
(Dietrich Bonhoeffer, 1906-1945)

While the world was sinking into emotionless brutality, the Wroclaw-born pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer fought to preserve Christian values during the National Socialist era. With his incorruptible sense of right and wrong and his courage to make decisions that were uncomfortable for himself, the exemplary pastor from Germany became a beacon of hope worldwide. In England, Dietrich Bonhoeffer is one of the twenty martyrs of the 20th century who are depicted as figures carved in stone above the portal of Westminster Abbey.

Biography of a fearless and courageous man who did not lose his upright stance even in the face of terror and death.

With Gesine Keller.
