How can designers help to ensure that their products not only look good, but are also accessible to as many people as possible?

Not everything that looks good is also easy to use. The same applies to the comprehensibility, the "readability" of these objects or designs. Good design provides orientation and does not exclude anyone. How can designers help to ensure that their products not only look good, but are also accessible to as many people as possible? What is inclusive design and what role do the interfaces between the trades play?
