"die hunde" suchen Liebesblätter im Tal

Staged reading with Ellen Rein, Rainer Heusler and Jeremias Heppeler at the Dreigroschentheater.

A brutal murder in the idyllic Danube valley ... Jeremias Heppeler's new debut crime novel and his spoken words meet Ellen Rein's poems, musically interpreted by Rainer Heusler. Heusler's finely tuned guitar and zither sounds circle over Rein's unrhymed, semantically unbounded love, pain, healing and animal poems from her books "Liebesblätter", "das Lachen der Laune" and "Tierfreunde".

In the second half of the evening, we will experience the multi-award-winning, intermedial visual artist Jeremias Heppeler, who will immerse us in his analog and digital worlds with his novel "Dunkles Donautal" and musically staged spoken ambient tracks by his band "die hunde". Both authors met in August 2024 at the salem2salem residency program in upstate New York in the USA. And now into the new domestic flow!
