School class reading: Interactive reading and discussion About life: About cohesion Houssein Kahin and Kornelia Wald Moderation: Björn Springorum

If there's one thing Mohammed doesn't want to do, it's accept the integration award on behalf of his school as a so-called model pupil. But because Mohammed has left a sports bag in the assembly hall, he turns up outside the school during the award ceremony. The 17-year-old has no way of knowing that the only girl at the school he likes has a dark agenda. And the day, which was supposed to be a celebration for the school, turns into a disaster.
The winner of the Vielfalter Literature Prize 2023 leaves you breathless. Told from multiple perspectives, it becomes clear that diversity is only possible together.
Houssein Kahin was born in Bremen, but initially grew up in Lebanon. His former German teacher Kornelia Wald, with whom he worked on the novel, brought him to writing.

An event as part of the 2nd Stuttgart Literature Festival.
The Stuttgart 2025 Literature Festival is organized on behalf of the state capital Stuttgart by the Literaturhaus Stuttgart in cooperation with the Stuttgart City Library and the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels BW.
