# dieWelle – ein Schauspiel von Jochen Strauch

The Förderverein der Jungen Akademie Stuttgart is presenting a stirring production of DIE WELLE - a play by Jochen Strauch based on Morton Rhue's novel.

The play is about a history teacher who conducts a social experiment with his pupils in class. He calls it "The Wave". With the help of discipline and a sense of community, the initially skeptical pupils should be able to understand the emergence of National Socialism at first hand. However, the experiment soon threatens to get out of hand. Exclusion and violence against pupils become more and more common. See for yourself how the project comes to an end.
