Disney's musical TARZAN has been captivating musical fans all over Germany since 2008; in 2013, Stuttgart audiences were able to experience the musical up close for the first time with breathtaking aerial acrobatics, a touching love story and music by Phil Collins. It went on to become one of the most popular musicals in Stuttgart. 10 years later, Stage Entertainment Germany is bringing the spectacular show back and letting the lianas swing again in the state capital: Disney's musical TARZAN replaced DANCE OF THE VAMPIRE in autumn 2023 after two successful seasons and will now be on show at the Stage Palladium Theater.

About Disney's musical TARZAN

The musical tells the world-famous story of an orphan boy who searches for his roots and finds true love: Tarzan grows up alone among apes in the middle of the jungle and one day meets Jane - and falls in love with her. This love soon confronts him with the decision between two worlds.
Impressive stage, light and sound effects as well as breathtaking choreography and aerial acrobatics dissolve the boundaries between audience and stage and bring the wonderful world of the jungle to life in Stuttgart: Disney's musical TARZAN is still considered one of the most spectacular musicals of our time.

The music is also world-class: it was written by Phil Collins. The pop genius was already responsible for the songs in the Disney film of the same name, and with great success: Collins' song "You'll be in my heart" was awarded a Grammy® and an Oscar®.

The creative team responsible for the original Broadway production was: Bob Crowley (director, set and costume design), David Henry Hwang (book). Sergio Trujillo (choreography), Pichón Baldinu (aerial design), John Sivers (sound design), Natasha Katz (lighting design) and Paul Bogaev (music producer).
