DIVA revisited - About Pop Festival 2025

The DIVA show series, initiated by drag queen Veronica Mont Royal, has been celebrating the divas of showbiz since February 2024 - in a diverse and cross-gender way. With highlights, new editions and a colorful cast, DIVA now also delights Stuttgart in an exclusive mini-edition.

The DIVA show series was launched in February 2024 as an idea and project by drag queen and activist Veronica Mont Royal at Komma Esslingen.

The idea behind DIVA is to pay tribute to the divas of showbiz - all genders included - sometimes as a medley or reinterpretation, sometimes as an extended version or cover. The possibilities are almost unlimited. The show series is now in its sixth edition and the cast is becoming increasingly diverse - just like drag is. Guests from Germany, Europe and even the USA have already appeared on the DIVA stage. Two more editions are already being planned for this year.

In this retrospective, you can look forward to a potpourri of highlights from the shows and also new editions of songs by the divas of showbiz!

The event takes place as part of the About Pop Festival 2025.
