Everything is crying out for change - but the butt on this chair weighs like lead! The world is coming apart at the seams - but do we have any influence on it? A fool who interferes, a fool who thinks he knows what's going on. "Let's be fools and weirdos against our better judgment!" think two outmoded ladies and drag their very personal heroes, the idealist Don Quixote and his loyal squire Sancho Panza (the elites of world literature!) onto the stage to save them for posterity. Cry and laugh with them and enjoy the low blows and beatings they both take!
Don Quixote is the 3rd part of the theater cycle "Homesick for the Future", which the Ensemble Materialtheater began in 2016 with the productions "The Cemetery" and "Cinema in the Head".
